INTRODUCTION TO COOKING


The 10-Week Introduction to Culinary program will start in September of 2017.  Class sessions will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Maximum of 12 students will be accepted into each cohort.


  • Week 1: Kitchen Introduction and Safety & Sanitation
  • Week 2: Knife Skills
  • Week 3: Stocks and Sauces
  • Week 4: Soups and Salads
  • Week 5: Meat Introduction/Fabrication
  • Week 6: Breakfast Cookery
  • Week 7: Fish
  • Week 8: Pasta
  • Week 9: Baking Techniques 
  • Week 10: Cooking Final and Graduation


In this class you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructor.


  • You will work with other students in groups of 2 or 4
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 12 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back


Introduction to Culinary Fee:

  • Single Payment Option – $3,500.00 due upon enrollment.
    • Includes $150.00 non-refundable registration fee.
  • Installment Plan Option – $3,750.00
    • Includes $150.00 non-refundable registration fee.
    • $2,000.00 – Installment Plan 1 – Due upon enrollment
    • $1,750.00 – Installment Plan 2 – Due before Week #3
